FK JMX-M/JFX-M Series high-strength rod ends are available for a wide range of applications. They’re used to join the ends of steering links, control rods, and other mechanically controlled tie rods. Since the center of rotation of a rod end is on the axis of both connected shafts, it provides reliable point-to-point contact. Common signs of a failing rod end include a steering wheel that shakes or vibrates—and looseness or excessive play in the steering wheel. The vibration typically becomes worse as you accelerate or turn. These 3-piece FX metric replacements come in a variety of size options, in metal-to-metal or PTFE-lined styles. Machined from heat-treated alloy steel with a zinc plated finish, the rod ends are offered in different misalign angles and static load capacities.
