Specially designed for the latest aftermarket blocks and heads, JE Pistons 427/428 FE flat top pistons are for use with aftermarket 4.250 inch crank and aftermarket 6.700 inch rods. The factory block should be sonic checked for 4.280 in. and 4.310 in. bores. These pistons use 1/16, 1/16, 316 rings. The compression ratios are figured for 10.150 block heights. Larger bore sizes are available as customs, please contact manufacturer for details.
